purpose

It is used to manufacture oil resistant rubber products such as rubber hose, sealing ring, cots, aircraft fuel tank lining, gloves, etc.

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) is a kind of synthetic rubber. It is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene monomer. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good air tightness, good heat resistance, strong adhesion and good aging resistance. Disadvantages are low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation, low elasticity, and not suitable for insulating materials. Germany first began commercial production in 1937. Although the chemical and physical properties of NBR vary with the content of cyanide in the polymer, NBR has always maintained its resistance to the dissolution and corrosion of grease, gasoline and other solvents. The higher the content of cyanide in polymer, the stronger the corrosion resistance and the worse the elasticity. NBR is used to produce oil conveying hoses and flame retardant conveyor belts. Secondly, the sealing devices used in the automotive industry, as well as oil-resistant gaskets, gaskets, sleeves, flexible packaging, flexible hoses, printing and dyeing cots, cable glue materials, nuclear industry for the manufacture of protective gloves. Nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) has a strong temperature adaptability and can work normally in the temperature range from 40 to 108 C. This characteristic makes NBR widely used in aviation industry. NBR can also be molded into various products. The high elasticity of NBR makes it a raw material for manufacturing disposable laboratory gloves for laboratories. Nitrile rubber is also more resistant to oil and acid corrosion than natural rubber. Although the elasticity and strength are lower than those of NR, NBR has several times stronger corrosion resistance than NR.
